BUSINESS CLOSING

I thought I should put up one more post about the closing of our business since I’m still getting photography inquiries. Thank you to those who are still emailing and requesting our wedding photography services. We appreciate your interest and its great to hear your kind words about our work. However, we are no longer accepting clients and in just a few short weeks, after we fulfill all commitments to prior clients, our business will be officially closed. We are sorry for the inconvenience and wish you all the best of luck in your search for the perfect wedding photographer.

Maybe set up a page/post referring other vendors. Hint, hint. I don’t have a job! Thinking about photography full time! May have tons of questions! Love you.

Final Photo Purchase Notice

I sent an email to recent brides who have print credit remaining, but also wanted to post here to alert others.

The final day to place photo orders or use your print credit through the online store or to place an order for albums is JUNE 30, 2011. We will be closing bank accounts, websites, etc in the coming months after that and want to have all lose ends tied up.

NOTE: For those whose wedding is/was in 2011, this does not apply to you. We will give you the six months after your wedding for you and your family to place orders as your contract states.

Thanks!

Christmas & New Year Schedule

We will be closed from today, December 13 through Monday, January 3rd to celebrate Christmas and New Years with our families.

Any photo orders will be fulfilled after we return.

I should be able to return short emails but will not be planning wedding day details, etc during this time.

This season is very special to us and we are looking forward to a much needed break over the next couple of weeks.

We hope you have a very Merry Christmas and we’ll see you next year!!

ATTENTION POTENTIAL CLIENTS

It is with feelings mixed with sadness and excitement that I tell you that I will no longer be accepting weddings. I am fulfilling the commitments I’ve made to a few brides in 2011, but after those, I will not be accepting anymore for 2011 or anytime in the future.

I feel this is what is best for my family at this stage in my life (and my children’s lives). I have loved capturing your memories for the last few years and will miss getting to meet so many wonderful brides. I could write a long drawn out post about how special this time has been for me, but I’ll save you all the gush.

If you reached my page in search of a wedding photographer, I can refer you to a couple of great photographers in the area.

Thank you all for your support over the last 3 years and for choosing us to create lasting memories with you. I will keep my website up for my current brides for information and sneak peaks of their photos.

So Long,
Larra

Aww, this is really sad news :(

Brent & Leigh Ann: Family

I don’t shoot families anymore, but obviously that’s different for our immediate family. And since there have been no photos on the blog in MONTHS due to all the hacker/paypal drama, I thought I would brighten your day with my adorable nephew..oh yea, and his mom and dad.:)

As you can tell in these photos, Leigh Ann is about to have another baby..and a baby GIRL at that! Like seriously, within the next 3 weeks I will have a niece!! I’m so excited! We threw her a baby shower in September, so while they were in town we headed to downtown Bryan for a quick family shoot. And when I say quick I mean REALLY quick. Partly because a 2 year old will only last so long, but partly because it started raining. So we worked fast. And for only having 30 minutes, I think we did great!!

ps..If you didn’t know..Brent is Matt’s brother and Leigh Ann is his wife. In case you were needing the relation.:)

Left: Brent and Leigh Ann discovered once that the only way to get him to smile in pictures was to let him run through puddles. We took like 100 shots trying to get a smile..and although he was enjoying himself, still no real smile. He’s too focused on his task!
Right: Don’t you love how he is trying to lift that pole out of the ground?

Bebe - October 16, 2010 - 3:12 pm

I think these are just fantastic. Cole is very determined about lifting that pole and if he had a little bit more time, I am sure that he would have figured out a way to do it. Leigh Ann looked great. The shots of Brent and Cole are great. I love the ones of LA and Cole and of all three of them. Way to go Larra.
