Let it Snow!
December 5, 2013 - The storm has passed leaving subzero temperatures and a blanket of white across the Colorado Rockies. The morning started with temperatures at -15 F and crystal clear blue skies. I got my gear ready and began hiking the hills around Vail looking for scenes to shoot when I came upon this view. The clear blue skies contrast against the 13,000 foot snow covered peaks of the Gore Range in the background and fresh snow covered plants frame homes in the foreground set this image.

Image is offered in two different mountings:
