Colors of Seal (Seal Beach)
December 16, 2013 - After a string of warm winter days, clouds arrive to enhance the winter sunset. Tourists may flock to Southern California in the summer, but locals know the best sunsets are reserved for warm winter days when the offshore winds have cleared the air and the colors after the sun sets below the horizon are their most intense, rich, and deep. Purples and pinks can accompany the deep orange and reds. You may only get 1 or 2 opportunites a year to capture colors like this.
