Urban Shipwreck
March 9, 2014 - A late February storm generated larger than normal surf and washed this 70 foot craft on a Southern California Beach. This vessel was anchored offshore and the strong surf broke it free from its anchored position. While waitng for the right conditions to photograph this stranded vessel local taggers made their mark which provided a splash of color for this image. The local agencies overseeing this beached vessel removed the urban artwork within a week.
