Dixon Falls
July 4, 2015 - This image required an early morning arrival to capture the sun's first light illuminate the cascading falls and surrounding vegetation and glacier fed lake. The cloud activity added contrast to the background and cast paritlal shadows that provided different shades to the vegetation and rock formations. I had to time the shot with the sun playing hide and seek with the clouds. The end result is this amazing composition.
