Purple Channel
January 28, 2013 - A chily and windy day provided the elements for this image. Lots of clouds (great for sunsets) moving rapidly across the sky and I thought too many at the horizon to produce the best colors. I stuck around to see what would happen. Great colors as the blue sky mixed with the red clouds to create a purple reflection in the channel. The windy conditions and long exposure (30 seconds) give the clouds a soft look. The second of two images that day.
